What are cookies ?

Cookies are small files which are stored on a users computer. They are designed to hold a modest amount of data specific to a particular client and website and can be accessed either by the web server or the client computer. This allows the server to deliver a page tailored to a particular user or the page itself can contain some script which is aware of the data in the cookie and so is able to carry information from one visit to the website (or related site) to the next.

What types of cookies do we use ?

1. Session cookies- This type of cookie contains information that is stored in a temporary memory location and then subsequently deleted after the session is completed or the web browser is closed. We use this type of cookie for basic tracking from page to page so that we could recognize your activity and your profile.

2. Persistent cookies - Persistent cookies help websites remember your information and settings when you visit them in the future. This results in faster and more convenient access. We use it to remember your username and password, which enables faster access after visiting our sites again. We also use Google analytics cookie to learn more about your activity on our services, so that we could improve our services for you.

How can you opt out cookies ?

The opt-out cookie tells the website not to install third party advertisers or other cookies on your browser. This prevents the third party ad server from tracking your page preferences within a website or among websites within their network. However in this case you must be aware that some functions might not work. For example, we would not be able to remember your movement on our sites, which might result in a worse user experience.

If you want to opt out cookies, follow the instructions on http://www.networkadvertising.org/ .
